The 2016 and 2017 deer seasons were a lot of fun. Hunting at Juliette Hunting Club, I saw a lots of deer and some big ones. Unfortunately, I only got one for the freezer. The best thing is that my wife and I got to hangout with friends. We watched plenty of Alabama football, plus some of those other so called teams in collage football. (ROLL TIDE!) We are looking forward to many more seasons spent hunting with friends!
2016 Biloxi MS, saltwater trip was AWESOME!!! Went out with Captain Jerry McClure of Biloxi Bluewater Charters. We launch from Biloxi Boardwalk Marina. Went out in the Gulf of Mexico on Friday and came back on Saturday. Caught some King fish, Red Snapper, and Tuna.
The first day of turkey season was a good day but came up short. Got out to the blind before it started to rain. Before the rain started I heard one gobble from a long ways away. I started to call with my slate call and seem like he wasn't coming. Then I pick up my box call and hit it. He answer and started to head my way. I called some more to keep bring him on in. Then a hen answer!
My new fishing jersey from Gemini Jerseys G2. They did a great job in working with me in the designing and helping me with my logo.
This year I hunted at Juliette Hunting Club in Warren County. Had a lot of fun hunting is year. Made a lot of new friends.
Was hunting at 44 MAG Hunting Club. The morning of Dec, 21, 2014. I was hunting out of my 15' single ladder stand in the hardwoods between planted pines. The hardwoods has two creeks that makes a T. I was setting where the two creeks meet. It makes a natural funnel. The deer travel between the pines in the hardwoods next to the creek to find a crossing point. The deer was a 6 pointer with a broking tine.
Tournament anglers see sponsorship as the Holy Grail, the path to free entry fees and piles of free product. While all of that is possible, the reality is there is more to a sponsorship partnership than exchanging jersey space for cash and products. Sponsorships are like any job; you start out at the bottom and work your way up. Along the way you must prove yourself, work well with others, have good communication and stay professional at all times. However before you can get to that point, you must first develop the relationship, build trust and show your worth.
With your own personal corner on the web, you're talking to a worldwide audience.
Yes, catching bass, climbing the leader board and taking your career to the next level are key. But with your own website, you're part of a billion dollar business that keeps growing by spreading the word. To keep you and your sponsors part of the conversation and ahead of the competition, plug in to the tools that give you the edge.
After taking anglers to the next level, Pro Sites Unlimited is doing the same for business. Since 2010, Bass Pro Sites has grown in the tournament bass fishing community by providing national touring and weekend anglers personal websites to help attract sponsors and take their careers to the next level. With the announcement of the change to Pro Sites Unlimited LLC, outdoor enthusiast companies are getting the same treatment.
Bass Pro Sites was launched with a specific direction - create websites that bass fishermen could use to attract sponsors and take their fishing to the next level. And it all started on the water. Bass Pro Sites Pro Staffer, Larry Stoafer, recounts how the idea went from the water to reality.
Well after almost 3 years of research, contacting, and negotiating with web design companies, here we are; a professional website to assist me in chasing my dreams of becoming a professional angler. Most are probably asking "Stoafer what took you so long?" Well, if any of you have had aspirations of developing your own website you probably know the answer. Technical competence and cost.
