MIKE-B1.JPG I have competed in different tournaments from the local and state level up to the divisional level. My dad took me fishing on the family farm in Winfield Alabama. Where I got my first fish. It was a bluegill. I began fishing for bass as a little 8yr old boy in Leeds Alabama. In Leeds me and my family lived next to a golf course that was in the country. I caught my first bass on that pond on the golf course, and sometimes played around of golf on it too. Grew up play sports I was very competitive. Bass fishing gives me that competitive spirit that I love. Competing in bass tournaments has brought me not only many close friendships, but learning from my fellow competitors and sharing information has improved my fishing exponentially. The thrill of competition and the cerebral approach to successfully locating and catching bass is an obsession that grows by the day. I have had a love for fishing and the outdoors since I was a young boy.
